Costa Ricas Rosario Ramirez handcrafts this pair of button earrings of her own design. She uses a rubber mold to create the earrings, which feature rectangles of black and milk-white resin. Namedi Abstracto /i , this translates to “abstract” in English. Says Ramirez of her craft, “Nature is beautiful but we must learn to care for and preserve all these marvels that God gives us. My designs also seek to convey this consciousness for our planet.”
