Hand-carved from a circular piece of coconut shell, the abstract image of a phoenix, symbolizing resurrection and healing, decorates the pendant of this necklace from Guatemala. Artisans Fernando and David fill the cutaway section with lava stone and resin for a beautiful contrast. The pendant centers an adjustable length of nylon cord.
